POCKET OF CRIES ©2001-2005 Edition of 1

Created as a Testimony, and perhaps my first participatory effort, is part of the 100 Tears project and a discover why people cry. I received
33 handwritten cards from others that expressed their personal moments and heartfelt memories. All the cards 6.5"x 4" are protected
  in a 10"x 7" cloth pocket.

100 TEARS: RETURNED CARDS
  1. We have a story to tell and the ending is so good!
  2. Only love is real. Own now... who you already really are.
  3. Changing my life.... becoming me.
  4. The most painful events in my life have offered me portals or thresholds to my inside world allowing me to actualize myself in
    the outside world.
  5. I hold your dreams very close to my heart.
  6. Being married to each other has been a wonderful experience... but realizing we created another life is a blessing that we look
    forward to in our future.
  7. To change your mind is to change your life, Thank you, love, Bella, Happy New Year--no tears.
  8. German church bells ringing.
  9. The path is love. The birth of my son Ellis :) My brothers cancer, [love] will prevail.
  10. "What's happening to me?" she cried. Death by inches. Now I am nobody's child.
  11. "Have I become so strong at being strong that I have forgotten how to love?"
  12. There are no chance encounters.
  13. Falling in LOVE...
  14. Harold William Beseth II; A great man, friend, and father.
  15. To Mary Jane, a teardrop for your thoughts, Happy birthday 2002.
  16. A stricken tree...is, next to a man, perhaps the most touching of wounded objects.
  17. Value  wisdom over knowledge. Never let your work become your life.
  18. In loving memory of Matthew James Cavanaugh.
  19. Taking it to the next level.
  20. When I realized I had to put my tears away, rest in peace T.M.L.
  21. Life, love, loss, wisdom, truth, creativity, children, lovers, friends.
  22. To the best friends of Kellogg...
  23. For Marleu: who can sell anything... probably even teardrops, Happy birthday 2002, Sejonne.
  24. Life=Loss, yet my life has been blessed with many joys.
  25. Learning to let go--to love you with all a heart can hold.
  26. Less than three.
  27. All gone-- all gone, all gone.
  28. The warmth in your eyes.
  29. A loving + devoted sister.
  30. Tears of family joy, -tears of spiritual realization.br>
  31. Always remember you're in our hearts and thoughts... Happy mother's day mom.
  32. A glass vessel to sanctify safety and security. There is a looking in to imagine, practice, a languagelessness. So breaths of peaceful
exchange can reform glass back to sand where it may lay next to the oceans emerging from under waters to reconnect our worlds of difference.
