An extensive handmade book project, potentially 25-30 in number, has been progress since 2003.

The library uses different cultural approaches to communication; tablets, scrolls, manuscripts, prayer books, retablos, illuminations...and so forth. Formats reference picture books, charts, maps, manuals, and storytelling to name a few. The mediums used incorporate traditional and contemporary methods, sewing, handwriting, painting, printmaking, digital printing, transferring and more. The materials used are things I have acquired through travel, collected over time, or are fabric remnants from my art projects. The whole collection is held in a custom cabinet and used in the project Story. Interior views are forthcoming and found in the archive, along with the book text as well.

The Scroll of Influence, enclosed in a custom tote, holds a collection of historic obscurities pertaining to my own work.

Box of Tears is a box of three books referencing human emotions and exterior realities and the means of transcending them. Learn more about the installation project of 100 Tears.

The Courage of Trees is a prayerbook inclosed in a custom box. The fabric bookmark is made from two stages of the project and holds a place in an illustrative poem about trees. Learn more about the installation projects of Red Trees,

Found: Journals From The Future were created for the installation Found and now stored in a wooden chamber. Read some of the journal entries that are included in the story My Gamma Waves.

Book of Leaves is a binder made of a blue kata from Mongolia and white remnants from my World Rivers adventure. The folder includes a pocket that holds a handkerchief guide that identifies the significant leaves of the world inside. The clasp is a Mongolian saddle ornament.

The Book of Steps, in progress, is presented as a chant and made of birch wood and parchment pages sewn together.

A 21st century Red Trees Kakemono unrolls to reveal pages of my sketchbook printed on linen. The outside and boarder is fabric from the project Red Trees.

The Elemental Communion Book is a soft pillow book about the natural elements made from World Rivers Project fabric and enclosed in a drawstring pouch.
