OPEN STUDIO: xxxx 411 North Wolcott, Chicago, IL 60622 Between Ashland and Damen and one block south of hubbard. You are invited to partake in an intimate evening, and to benefit from my decision to release some hidden jewels from within my studio, as I usher in a new era of my art practice. Feel free to bring your cocktail of choice as the setting is quite celebratory.   Studio wall filled with framed works ready to find a new home. All funds collected assist two global projects My projects are meant for classroom communication and interaction. The Demandments program and the World Rivers project involve teachers and learners in knowledge construction and meaning-making action. Please help me pursue my dream of an artistic curricular influence that draws attention to global imperatives for human justice and environmental change. Please assist by lessening my load and clearing my mind so that I can maintain fluidity in my movement. The Demandments program needs to stay ahead of payroll (reaching schools and teachers.) World Rivers project needs to keep its kitty full for my global hosts.  Bundles of books, sketches, scrolls, plates, and more. Everything is set Each work of art has a story and speaks to both complexity and whimsy of life. My art beautifully adorns walls and easily conjures conversation. ARTWORK Paintings, project art, and installation items from the early 1990s to current, are available for collecting. FUNDRAISING Raising funds to further my World Rivers Project by specifically using all resources to connect with hosts around the world that offer rooms near rivers. As participants they dip white fabric in their river and to be included in the growing river curtain. DONATIONS Fractured Atlas, a 501(c)(3) public charity, provides fiscal sponsorship for my public art assignment The Demandments. Tax-deductible donations help with outreach, methods to connect with both teachers and students, and collecting the demands of children to showcase publicly. |
