Welcome to my exotic city atelier installation old fashioned studio boutique modern place workspace.
By appointment and special events:
LEEWAY ROOM 411 North Wolcott, Chicago, IL 60622

Leeway room is my museum curated using life's material creations and ethereal assertions as concrete conceptual resources.

Leeway Room is laboratory to thread needles, smash metals, fold paper, hammer words, and read gold flecks in pursuit of a vision.

This room offers a treasured encounter with hidden jewels.

Intimate assembly for engagement and thought is instigated.

Step into the stillness of what was by browsing bundles of unique communicative formats.

Slowing down time by exploring messaging and imagining what can arise.

A Fane is a poetic word for a sacred room, a sanctuary, a temple or shrine. The Fane 18" x 24", water color, 1999

My fane, The Element Fane, is a work in progress that concludes with a full-room installation housing a lifetime of artistic intention.

The Element Fane is a exhibition of art that is given context by the content of my story, My Gamma Waves.

Family heirlooms, keepsakes, belongings, souvenirs, and found treasures are part of the story.

Some are made from project fabric, such as garments, bags and pouches.

My life goal is to connect all I've experienced into a symphony that expresses my philosophical approach to life and my personal cosmology.

My Fane is filled with elementals.

Leeway room is the space to explore hope and the meaning of our humanness.

All funds collected are used solely for my studio practice and to complete my projects.

Containers, vessels, boxes, carts play have their role in housing a plan to one day be unpacked.

Another world away from the fray of this one.

MISSION
Fundraising efforts are to assist with two global artworks that include project-based educational components. The Demandments assignment and the World Rivers project involve teachers and learners in knowledge construction and meaning-making action. Please help me pursue my dream of an artistic curricular influence that draws attention to global imperatives for human justice and environmental stewardship.

AVAILABLE ARTWORK
Paintings, project art, and installation items from the early 1990s to current, are available for collecting.

DONATIONS
Fractured Atlas, a 501(c)(3) public charity, provides fiscal sponsorship for my public art assignment The Demandments. Tax-deductible donations help with outreach, methods to connect with both teachers and students, and collecting the demands of children to showcase publicly.

I wish to sincerely offer praise to everyone that genuinely shares their enthusiasm in supporting my work, both monetary arrangements and words of encouragement are instrumental in achieving my creative vision.

Visit the Archive for all works.
