FOUND Evanston Art Center, Evanston, Illinois, 2008

Journals from the future found in a once flooded room.

The journals are torn, unearthed, and waterlogged. Many of the pages are illegible, showing only a glimpse of what was.

Read some of the journal entries as part of the larger project, My Gamma Waves.

Visit the archive to view more photos, further description, and information on how Found provided writing inspiration.

NEGATIVE TO POSITIVE The International Museum of Surgical Science, Chicago, 2006

A full room installation of thirty-five brain scans depicting different layers of my brain that are made into (4"x4") light boxes.

The four walls of the room are draped with a continuous sage colored hospital curtain.

Each light box, with exposed individual electric cords, sits on custom gurneys made narrow and tall.

Each piece of film has words etched into it - thoughts taken from personal journals of the time.

"Prepare for the experience that will deconstruct your beliefs."

View all 35 lightboxes, further description, and a review in the archive.
Limited edition lightboxs are offered by Ashes and Milk.
